Odor Mold and Mildew
Jenkins
Comfort Systems Vest Treatment and Conditioner ( VTC ) is specially
formulated to treat and condition your Eliminator vest. This is a
unique formulation of odor neutralizers, preservatives and
quaternary
compounds that inhibit the growth of mold and mildew on the vest. Directions: Shake bottle before using. After wearing the Eliminator
vest, spray the inside liner with ETC. Allow the vest to air dry
prior to use. Before storing the vest, spray both the inside liner
and the exterior vest with VTC.
Washing and
Cleaning
Shampoo and Conditioner ( SCV ) for the vest is
designed to remove body oils and other soils from the surface of the
fabric vest. A special proprietary blend of surfactants and other
cleaning agents quickly dissolve and emulsify greases and oils. The
shampoo then holds these oils in suspension to allow them to be
freely rinsed from the vest. Directions: Mix 6 ounces of SCV with a
gallon of warm to hot water in a large bucket or other vessel
sufficient to hold the vest and and the cleaning
solution. Submerge the vest in the solution and weight it down with
a heavy object to keep the vest completely submerged for 10 to 15
minutes. Remove the heavy object and agitate the vest
up and down in the cleaning solution several times. If the outside
of the vest has heavy deposits of grease or other soils, agitation
with a brush may be necessary on those spots. Rinse the vest
thoroughly with running water to remove all soap and conditioner.
Allow vest to air dry. The garment should be opened completely to
facilitate drying.
