          The Eliminator Vest and Bladder

SPECIAL EVENTS

Recently Jenkins Comfort Systems donated three Eliminators at the Lake Thurmond Bass Tournament For The Disabled,  an annual event  held in October  near Augusta Georgia.

Not only does Jenkins Comfort Systems donate systems to the winners of the  events held during the tournament, they also supply technical assistance  in the event that any of the participants or bystanders have any heat related problems.

Most people are unaware that  victims of spinal cord injuries have no way to regulate their body core temperatures from the injury site down. Due to the fact that their brain does not recognize the external heat to the injured portion of their body their core temperature will continue to rise without perspiring as a way to release the heat that they generate. They can become victims of  heat-stress related injuries  very easily.

One year during the second day of the event, Jenkins Comfort Systems President Donny Jenkins placed Eliminators on ten individuals who were suffering from the heat and potential heat stress related injuries. All of the potential victims' heat related problems were halted and reversed in 15 minutes or less by using the Eliminator systems.

Most of the individuals that had a chance to wear an Eliminator vest to combat their heat problems asked that they be allowed to continue wearing the Eliminators during the remainder of the tournament.
